Grand Chess Board

The Grand Chess board is made of rich and royal timbers of Indian rose wood (black squares), beech (white squares), Andaman padouk (reddish border) and mahogany (back layer).
Coordinates 1-10 and A-J are inlaid beech (handiwork).
The squares measure 46x46 mm each, the board totals 52x52 cm and is 12 mm thick.


The Grand Chess pieces come in a good looking, solid, wooden box with slide-off cover. King's height is 76 mm; pieces are weighted and felted.
